Today was our first day at the Portland Autodesk regional. We uncrated our robot early this morning and spent all day attempting to get it competition ready. We have our weight down to .4 pounds below the max limit. We are having an issue with our program iterating extremely slow, and we have even gone so far as to rewrite all of it to see if it fixed it. We have no idea why this is happening.
Our scouting team was very busy today; a couple spent a good amount of time walking around the pits and talking to teams, and the other sat in the arena to watch the practice rounds and collect info. We have found about 3 robots that would make good allies. We will sort all of the data and go over it tomorrow when we have time.

Today we went to LCF Enterprises for a scrimmage against a couple towns nearby. We built up until we had to leave, packed everything up, and went to LCF. When we arrived we began to assemble the pneumatic systems, as well as fix other stuff that needed to be done. When all was hooked up, we flipped the breaker on. Nothing happened. Long story really really short, we spent the entire day trying to make our robot work, but never got it running. It turns out we blew a Jaguar, which affected every other Jag on the bot. This was a bad problem to us as none of our laptops had a serial port to renumber the Jaguars. After finding the adapter we needed, we got the Jags renumber, but they still did not work. The head programmer, Enmar, tried for hours to get it to work. We think it is an electrical issue and will try again tomorrow.

._. Sorry about the lack of posts, this weekend and week has been crazy. Our chassis and everything has been anodized, pics of which to come soon. The build team has been hard at work assembling the chassis and suspension systems, while the programming/control systems teams have been working on working the laast few bugs out of the program. We have a vimeo account where we will be uploading videos of our Mech hubs being machined, I will post them when they are done.
